Exceptional neo-Egyptian necklace in yellow gold and platinum embellished with enamel, fine pearls and old-cut diamonds. It is composed of beetles, an amulet and pearls made of earthenware and glazed steatite from archaeological excavations

Description:
The necklace is made of 6 beetles holds a winged beetle, an amulet probably representing the god Bes in a circle of brilliants and sapphires supporting 3 beetles in pendants, steatite beads and a gold drop set with diamonds.
The excavation pieces are dated to the 18th (-1550/-1314) and 19th dynasty (-1314/-1200), some of them earlier.
