Floral scroll enamelled gold cross by John Paul Cooper


Cross of Latin form with flared ends, to one side green and red guilloché leaf motifs on an opaque light green ground, a central oblique square with blue leaves on a turquoise enamel ground and beaded gold border, the reverse with red, green, blue and pink guilloché leaves and scrolling gold wirework stems all on an opaque black ground, centred by a square turquoise enamelled frame, all edged with zigzag incised fluted rims surmounted by a hinged openwork trefoil suspension loop with triple bead clusters.
